I've been waiting for results to show up for my own (trial) dot tel domain and in just two weeks since I got mine (jamarie.vip.tel) I finally got results!

All things considered, this just goes to show that even with very little Search Engine Optimization efforts, a .tel domain can definitely make a difference for somebody wanting to be found online. Who knows, maybe one day my vip.tel domain might just take over the top spot in the rankings not only for my name but also for the other keywords I included!

It is roughly just over a month till the dot tel domains are available for pre-registration and already many of the internet registrars have already followed EuroDNS in offering them. December 3 is a date many business owners should be wary of because it is their first chance to secure their names and trademarks so that domain squatters will be able to take advantage of them.
Many trademark owners have already been victims of domaining squatting most notably twitter.com. After missing out on their chance to register twitter.me, it was subsequently registered by someone else. I been blogging about the 2 latest domain extensions that domain handlers have been claiming are "personal." First, dot me domains have been the rave in recent times. So much have been written and said about this ccTLD of Montenegro which publicists say have broken domain application records and just became the most successful domain extension launch in history. In my mind however, I doubt there's any substance to .me domains being "personal." I'm my opinion, if you want to get personal with all your readers, there are tons of better ways to get personal.
